AL observes hartal in Meghna UZ

Shops, schools, and offices remained closed. All modes of transports, including rickshaws and vans, were off the roads responding to the hartal.

The protestors staged roadside demonstrations on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway demanding justice for what they called the brutal killing.

Meghna upazila AL convenor Dr Khorshed Alam addressed the demonstration, a party press release said.
