Water Kingdom at Fantasy Kingdom next month

The Water Kingdom, an amusement in water through different rides, will be launched alongside the Fantasy Kingdom at Ashulia on the outskirts of the capital next month.

This was announced by S M Kamaluddin, chairman of Concord Group, at a press conference at Concord Centre in Gulshan yesterday.

He said the entertainment in the Water Kingdom includes water ride, giant wave pool, family pool, virtual aquarium, stage concert, catwalk and fashion ramp, lazy river, and large water spray.

"Here we have tried to keep the entertainment facilities under the affordability of all from top class to commoners," said the chairman.

A fee of Tk 275 has been fixed for all rides including entry into the Water Kingdom. A person will be able to stay there for the whole day with this charge, he added.

Through a slide show, Kamaluddin also described different rides and facilities in the Water Kingdom.

The entry fee for Fantasy Kingdom is Tk 120 and for Heritage Park Tk 60 excluding fees for each ride.

At present, the Concord Group is operating four parks- Fantasy Kingdom, Fantasy World and Heritage Park in Ashulia, while Concord Amusement World in Chittagong.

Executive Director of Concord Entertainment Co Air Commodore (Retd) Rashid Ahmed was present on the occasion.
