Training course for PROs
The certificate giving ceremony of a two-week training course on 'Press release writing techniques and photo editing' was held at the BICSR conference room in the city on Monday, says a press release. Bangladesh Institute of Communi-cation Studies and Public Relations (BICSPR) organised the training course.
Darul Ihsan University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Anwar Husain distributed certificates as chief guest among the participants.
Bangladesh Public Relations Association President Mostafa-e-Jamil was present as special guest. BICSPR Executive Director Mirza Tarequl Qader also spoke with governing body chairman industrialist Anwar Hossain Chowdhury in the chair. The main objective of the course was to provide quality training and develop the skills of the public relations officers about press release writing and photo editing. Senior journalists and public relations specialists and conducted the course. Nineteen public relations officers of different government, semi-government, autonomous organisations and NGOs participated in the course.
