Nor'wester lashes B'baria: One killed, 100 houses damaged

The dead was identified as Ambia Begum, 50, of Bogdahar village of Nabinagar upazila. She died as a big tree fell on her thatched house.

At least 100 thatched houses of Sarail, Nabinagar and Brahman-baria upazilas were damaged during the storm.

Standing crops were also partially damaged in the district.

The power supply was also disrupted in Sarail and Nabinagar following the storm.
