IT training programme opens

Seoung Ung Park, ambassador of the Republic of Korea, inaugurates an IT training programme for the 5th batch of computer instructors of the Department of Youth Development (DYD) at Moghbazar in the city on April 17

Seoung Ung Park, ambassador of the Republic of Korea, inaugurated the programme, which is conducted under a project implemented by a four-member Korean Development Corps Volunteers team, assigned by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

Speaking on the occasion, the Korean ambassador highlighted the DYD's role in turning the youths into a productive workforce enabling them to become self-reliant. He assured of sending more teams to Bangladesh in diversified fields of interest.

Syed Shujauddin Ahmed, secretary of the Ministry of Youth & Sports, Lee Jung Wook, resident representative of KOICA, and SM Waliur Rahman, director general of DYD, were also present.
