Over 700 Illegal structures demolished in Cox's Bazar

District and Police administration sources on Friday said they conducted the eviction drive on 1.5km areas from Diabetic Hospital to Kolatoli point, which became haven for the criminals.

They also demolished illegal structures at a bazar at Kolatoli and reclaimed the land of the Land Revenue Department during the drive that began on Tuesday.

They said the drive would continue to free the beach area from the clutches of grabbers and illegal settlers.
