SSC examinee killed in road accident
An examinee of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) was killed and seven others were injured in a tragic road accident in Boratoli area of Betbunia under Kawkhali upazila of the district yesterday.
The victim was indentified as Kohinoor Begum, 16, daughter of Hiru Mia of Betbunia.
Police said the accident took place when the driver of a Chander Gari (pickup) lost control and collided with a roadside tree at around 2:00 pm leaving Kohinoor dead on the spot and seven others with minor injuries.
