His remarks came while addressing the concluding and prize distributing ceremony of a three-day workshop titled "Reporting on Child and Woman Issues" at Munshiganj Circuit House.

Terming journalism as much more specialised and competitive profession, he said that with the advancement of society and civilisation, there have been changes in journalism too and now newspapers entered a new era because the number of readers has increased.

DG of Bangladesh Press Institute Dr Rezwan Hossain Siddique, course coordinator Shahana Huda and Munshiganj Press Club president Ariful Islam also spoke.
