5 killed in Bogra road accidents

Police said a truck turned turtle near the Telipukur on Bogra-Rangpur highway when it was giving side to a bicycle in the morning. The bicycle rider was also crushed under the wheels.

Police have identified two victims--Nirapad Mohanta, 60, of Sha-jahanpur and Ali of Dupchachiya upazila.

The critically injured were admitted to different local clinics and hospitals in Bogra.

Meanwhile, a truck knocked down one bystander in the Latifpur colony area in the town at around 10:00 am. The victim was identified as Nannu Mian of Gabtali upazila of the district.
