Teachers urged to increase efficiency

Describing teachers' community as 'architect' of the future generation, the minister said efficiency of the teachers have to be increased to develop human resources and prepare younger generation for the 21st century.

He was addressing as chief guest the inaugural function of foundation-training course for 77th batch of BCS Education and Technical cadre service at National Academy for Education Management in the city.

Dr Osman Farruk said we have to find out ways to become economically self-reliant through procurement of internal resources and ensuring their proper utilisation.

He also underscored the need for training and maintaining integrity for better management of resources.

NAEM Director General Prof M Khalilur Rahman presided. Course advisor Prof Sayeed Ahmad and course conductor M Abul Kashem Mian also spoke.
