ISD student raises fund for cancer hospital

Mehrab al Shahin hands over a cheque for Tk 75,000 to Kazi Rafiqul Alam, president and chief executive of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, at a simple ceremony in the city on March 17

The Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is setting up the hospital at Uttara in the city. Mehrab handed over a cheque for Tk75,000 to Dhaka Ahsania Mission President and Chief Executive Kazi Rafiqul Alam at a simple ceremony on March 17 on the school premises. The money was earned from the sale of tickets of the concert.

Chief Executive Officer of the School John F Sperandio and Mehrab's MA Muttalib were present.

Rafiqul Alam said we are proud of Mehrab and hope that others will surely be encouraged to organise similar events following him for AMCH.
