A five-member committee, to work hand in hand with the association aiming at preventing violence against women within the family and ensuring rights under the family law, was also formed at the meeting.

The committee members are Uttara Ladies Club Chairperson Jahanara Islam, Ward Commissioner Hafizul Islam Kusum, social workers Hosne Ara Begum, Hosne Ara Rosy and Advocate Dil Afroz.
