JCD activist beaten at DU

Seriously injured Mohammad Monir Hossain Sumon, a third year student of Islamic Studies and also a resident of room no. 312 of the hall, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with severe injures.

Sources said Abdullah Al Masum, a third year student of Arabic along with six outsiders woke up Sumon at around 1:15 AM and began to beat him up before pushing him down from the second floor as he did not allow him to sleep in Sumon's bed.

Masum also beat up Ashiqur Rahman Roni, a third year student of the Institute of Fine Arts.
