Declare Mar 13 as anti-violence day
Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) and Progatishil Chhatra Jote (PCJ), a combine of left leaning student organisations, observed 'Raju Day Against Violence' on the Dhaka University campus yesterday with a call to the government to declare March 13 as anti-violence day.
The student organisations took two-day programme, including discussion, exhibition, cultural programmes and open dialogue to observe the day.
BCU central committee member Moin Hossain Raju was a student of Soil, Water and Environment Department of the Dhaka University.
