Doctor, magistrate cross-examined

Judge Shahed Noor Uddin of the Speedy Trial Tribunal-1 recorded statements of Dr Shahidul Islam and Metropolitan Magistrate Shafiq Anwar.

Later, they were cross-examined by the lawyers of the accused. The court then fixed March 9 for next hearing of the case.

In his deposition, Dr Shahidul Islam, a lecturer at forensic department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), told the court that he prepared a post-mortem report of the slain Ahsanullah Master on May 8 last year.

Another witness magistrate Shafiq Anwar told the court that he recorded statement of critically injured Mahbubur Rahman Mahal's dying declaration at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on May 10 the same year.
