3 of a family burnt alive in Chakaria

The victims were identified as Jafar Ahmed, 55, owner of the house, his wife Jahanara Begum, 50 and daughter Rozina Akhtar, 14.

The three were trapped when they entered the burning house to take out their belongings.

Police and local people said the fire originated from a lamp.
