Case against OC, 230 others
A case was filed Tuesday against 231 people, including the officer-in-charge (OC) of Karimganj Police Station, in connection with the killing of an Awami League (AL) activist and injuring over 100 others.
Mizanul Haque, former AL MP from Tarail, filed the case with a magistrate's court. In the case, he mentioned names of 81 people including OC Anisur Rahman, President of the BNP Karimganj unit Rafiqur Rahman and Senior Vice President Shafiuzzaman.
AL activist Nabi Hossain was shot dead and over 100 others were injured when police opened fire to disperse the feuding Awami League and BNP activists at Gujadia Bazaar in Karimganj upazila on February 7.
