Intensify agitation to oust govt : Menon

He made the call while delivering his presidential address at the 7th congress of the party at the local Eidgah Maidan in the evening.
Menon said the alliance government will fall within a short time, and the people's government will be formed.
He said the lives of the people are now endangered due to criminalisation of politics by the government.
Ultra fanatic forces have raised their heads under the patronisation of the government, he added.
Menon said the independence of the country is being threatened owing to growing interference by an imperialist power.
"Our struggle against fundamentalism and imperialism will continue," he asserted.
The conference was also addressed by West Bengal Deputy Minister and Forward Block leader Hafiz Alam, Sri Lankan Deputy Minister Bimol Ratnayek, General Secretary of Tripura State Committee of CPI (M) Goutam Das, North Korean diplomat Rai Tse Sun, German Communist Party leader Clous Western, WPB Secretary Bimol Biswas, CPB Secretary Mujahidul Islam Selim, Gono Forum Secretary General Saifuddin Ahmed Manik, JSD President Hasanul Haque Inu, Gono Azadi League President Haji Abdus Samad, Bangladesher Samajbadi Dal Secretary Dilip Borua, Jana Sanghati Party leader of CHT Ushatan Talukder, Gonotantrik Mojdur Party leader Zakir Hossain, and NAP leader Advocate Enamul Haque.
Awami League District Secretary Shahin Chaklader was present in the conference. Haider Akbar Khan Rono read out the messages received from abroad.
Leaders and workers of left-leaning parties from Khulna and other districts of North Bengal also attended the conference.
