People urged to contribute to tsunami fund by Feb 28

Institutions, businesses and individuals have contributed a substantial amount to the Bangladesh Citizen's Fund for Tsunami Victims (BCFTV).

The closing date for donations to this fund is February 28 following which the fund will be disbursed to the tsunami-affected countries.

All citizens who intend to contribute to this fund are requested to do so within the closing date. The contributions can be deposited in any of the tsunami accounts opened in various branches of the banks, which are members of the Bangladesh Association of Banks and supporting this appeal.
