24 shanties, 4 godowns gutted in Ctg

An earthen oven sparked off the fire at a slum, known as Ali Hossain Colony, at Kalamia Bazar in Bakolia at around 5.00am, sources said.

The loss was estimated at around Tk 3 lakh, sources said.
