2 muggers beaten at book fair
Two muggers were caught red-handed while trying to flee after snatching money from a visitor at the Bangla Academy, the venue of Ekushey Book Fair, in the city yesterday evening.
A mob caught the two, Babul and Habib, at the Academy gate at around 7.30pm and beat them severely.
Later, they were handed over to the members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) and taken to Ramna Police Station.
