One killed in road accident
One woman was killed and 20 others were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Chittagong highway near Kotombapur under Chandina upazila in Comilla yesterday.
The dead was identified as Monwara Begum, 40, wife of Abdur Rahim of village Fathahabad under Debidwar upazila in the district.
The accident occurred when a Chittagong-bound passenger bus from Dhaka collided with a passenger bus at Kotombopur area in the evening, police and witnesses said.
