Obituary
Alhaj Mamtaj Uddin Ahmed, father of Barrister Mahbub Uddin Ahmed, a member of BNP National Executive Committee, died of a brain haemorrhage at Holy Family Red Crescent Hospital in the city yesterday at the age of 88.
He will be buried at his family graveyard at Begumganj in Noakhali.
BNP Secretary General and LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan and Law Minister Moudud Ahmed expressed their deep shock at the death of Mamtaj.
