SSJ programme begins toady
A 12-day programme of the Samillita Sangskritik Jote (SSJ) will begin at the Central Shaheed Minar in the city today, marking the February 21 and the International Mother Language Day.
Poet Shamsur Rahman will inaugurate the event while SSJ President Nasiruddin Yousuf will preside. Language movement veteran poet Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury will also attend the inaugural ceremony, says a press release.
