Ctg Fine Arts student drowns in Kaptai Lake

The victim was identified as Enjoy Chakma, 22, of Modhupur in Khagrachhari. His body is yet to be recovered, family members said.

They said Enjoy slipped away from the engine boat near Samata Ghat when he along with his friends were on the way back to town and drowned. Two of his friends immediately jumped to the Lake to rescue him but failed.

Enjoy came to Rangamati on Thursday to join a marriage ceremony and he went on a picnic with his friends the following day.

All efforts failed to recover his body till Sunday evening.
