Daily Star Press Union executives
M A Mannan and Zakir Hossain Mollah have been elected president and general secretary respectively of The Daily Star Press Sramik-Karmochari Union for 2005-06, says a press release.
Md Selim has been elected vice-president, Md Raju Ahmed assistant general secretary and Nayer Sultana treasurer.
The five-member executive committee was formed unanimously at a meeting at the daily's office yesterday with outgoing union president Abul Hashem in the chair.
