Appeal for help

The father of a six-year-old boy who has been suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, a cancer of white blood cells, seeks financial assistance for the treatment of his son, says a press release.

Ratul, a nursery student, is now undergoing treatment at Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital in Mirpur.

Doctors have advised his father to take the boy to Singapore for immediate bone marrow transplantation involving around Tk 40 lakh.
