EPAB executives
Mirza Tarequl Qader, executive director of Bangladesh Institute of Communication Studies and Public Relations (BICSPR) and Manoranjan Mondol, head of Publications and Public Relations Division, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) have been elected president and general secretary for 2005-2006 of Editing and Publication Association of Bangladesh (EPAB), says a press release.
The election was held on December 31 at the Annual General Meeting of the Association at the BICSPR Conference Room.
Other office bearers are -- Vice-presidents: AK Jalal Uddin, Golam Kibria Pinu and KM Abdul Awal, Associate General Secretaries: Gitaly Hasan and Mahmud Abu Sayeed, Treasurer: Siddique Mahmudur Rahman, Organising Secretary: Rehan Uddin Ahmed Raju, Publicity Secretary: Tapan Bagchi and Associate Publicity Secretary: Naznin Ara Afsari.
Kh Fazlur Rahman, Librarian In-charge, Planning and Development, University of Dhaka, conducted the election as election commissioner.
