Lawyers' Demand Day on February 9

It was decided at a meeting of the members of the secretariat of central committee yesterday with its president Barrister Shafique Ahmed in the chair. The meeting also demanded repeal of all black laws and third amendment of the civil procedure code.

The meeting also urged all bar association, including Supreme Court Bar Association, to hold rallies, press conference and form human chain on the day.

General Secretary of Central Executive Parishad Mohammad Jahidul Bari, Bar Council member Porimol Chandra Guha, Shubrata Chowdhury, SMA Abdus Sabur, Kazi Shajoar Hossain, Nazmul Ahsan Mizan and Abdul Baten spoke at the meeting.
