$ 30,000 Citigroup grant for Biswa Sahitya Kendra
Citigroup Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Citigroup, will provide a grant of 30,000 dollar to the Biswa Sahitya Kendra (World Literature Centre) today to support its programme titled "Encourage the new generation to read books," says a press release.
Biswa Sahitya Kendra Chairman Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed will receive the grant on its premises at 11:00am today.
The Citibank has completed a six-month campaign on raising funds for the programme.
