He said the CPB will hold public meetings at Mongla and Sunamganj on December 28 and carry out mass contact programme in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Manikganj and Narsingdi for a successful no-confidence human wall.

The CPB leaders, present at the meeting, also condemned the price-hike of diesel and kerosene saying that these will hurt the common people.

They said the government has been plundering the state resources laying off industrial units in the face of pressure from the World Bank and the IMF.

The government is also not concerned about the fate of millions of garment workers in the post-MFA era, they alleged.
