1,758 more held
Police arrested 1,758 people, including three listed criminals, on various charges during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours till 6.00am yesterday.
During the period, the law enforcers recovered 17 firearms and 63 bullets and filed eight cases against 21 people under Arms Act, says an official handout.
