CNG hijacked in city

A woman aged about 35 hired the CNG from Khilgaon Taltola for Madertek at about 9:00 pm. The woman asked the driver to stop at an alley at Madartek where four youths were waiting.

"They dragged me out of the vehicle and stabbed me as I stopped my CNG there," driver Murad Mollah said.

The miscreants drove the CNG away as Murad collapsed on the road, witnesses said.

Locals rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he was undergoing treatment.
