Physiotherapy equipment for disabled children
The programme was taken to consolidate the mobile operator's various community initiatives. The main objective programme is to help improve the quality of life and open up new opportunities for the disadvantaged people in Bangladesh.
SEID Trust runs a school and a community based rehabilitation (CBR) programme for the intellectually disabled. Currently the school provides therapy, food and conveyance to 42 children with various disabilities.
CityCell Chief Executive Officer Chris Maloy handed over the equipment to the SEID Trust Director Dilara Sattar at a ceremony at its office at Mohakhali in the city.
Chris Maloy in his speech said "As a large private organisation, we feel we have an obligation to be engaged in corporate community activities."
