GP HSE Week begins

This is a part of GrameenPhone's (GP) official policy to promote awareness about health, safety and environmental issues throughout the company and in the society at large.

Ola Ree, managing director of the company, inaugurated the HSE Week at its corporate head office. "Our sincere commitment and honest effort can really make a difference. Let us observe this week with enthusiasm," he said.

On Friday, an art competition was held for the children of the GP employees and children residing around the GP head office to mark the HSE Week. Ola Ree handed over prizes to the winners.

Training programmes, seminars and workshops on HSE issues will be held at the GP regional offices in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Rajshahi and Sylhet during the week. A hepatitis-B vaccination programme has also been taken up for the support and traffic staff.
