Rickshawpuller stabbed to death in N'ganj
A gang of criminals stabbed a rickshawpuller to death in Chanpur area under Bandar police station in Narayanganj on Saturday night.
The gang picked up Ali Ahmed, 48, from near his home and took him to a nearby place where they stabbed him indiscriminately at around 10.30pm, police said. The incident was a sequel to previous enmity.
Local people rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police arrested two youths -- Sanwar and Rahad -- of the same area for their alleged involvement in the killing.
Wife of Ali Ahmed filed a case with Bandar police station yesterday.
