Dr Atiur new president of Monajatuddin Smriti Sangsad
Dr Atiur Rahman, a noted economist, columnist and editor of the quarterly 'Pari-beshpatra', took over as the president of Journalist Monajatuddin Smriti Sangsad.
The executive committee of the Sangsad took the decision in this regard unanimously at a meeting recently.
The post fell vacant after the death of noted journalist Santosh Gupta.
