Anwar gets one year's job extension
M Anwarul Haq, minister (press) at the Bangladesh High Commission in India, has been given another year's extension in his current diplomatic assignment in New Delhi, according to a notification of the Ministry of Establishment.
He was the president of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) for two terms. He was also the city editor, chief reporter and diplomatic and defence correspondent of The Daily Star.
