Jubo Dal leader beats Satkhira dist officer

Modasserul Haq Huda, education secretary of Jubo Dal Central Committee, entered the room of Mahbubur Rahman at Zila Parishad Bhaban in the morning and assaulted him for not getting his bill, sources said.

also the ADC (General) of the district, of the incident who ordered to take legal action against the Jubo Dal leader.

Mahbubur Rahman said the Jubo Dal leader was given a contract for the construction of Muktijoddha Market in Shyamnagar upazila at a cost of Tk 81 lakh in 2001-2002 financial year.

But he could not get the bill as the local leaders of the ruling party filed a case against him with the Bureau of Anti-Corruption who seized all necessary papers required for payment.

When contacted, Modasserul Haq said there was altercation between them but no untoward incident took place.
