Dhaka Bank installs donation box for cancer hospital

Similar boxes will be set up at 13 other branches of the bank in Dhaka and Chittagong cities in the first phase.

The programme will be extended to all branches of the bank gradually.

Kazi Rafiqul Alam, president of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Shahed Noman, managing director of Dhaka Bank, Khandoker Fazle Rashid, deputy managing director, Md Abu Musa, executive vice-president, AKM Delwar Hussain, project director of Cancer Hospital Project, and MA Motin, director, Resource Mobilisation of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, were present at the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahed Noman assured the bank's continued cooperation and assistance for the cancer hospital.

Earlier, the Bank Foundation donated Tk 30 lakh for the hospital.

Kazi Rafiqul Alam hoped that the donation boxes would attract special attention of the valued clients of the bank, which would contribute greatly to the establishment of the hospital.
