JCD men beat BCL leader
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) activists of Jahurul Haque Hall of Dhaka University (DU) beat up a Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader early hours of yesterday leaving him seriously injured.
The JCD men, led by the hall unit Joint Convenor Shohag, assaulted Ashraful Alam Bekul, a first year student and BCL Institute of Education and Research (IER) Publicity Secretary.
They ousted Bekul and two other BCL activists, Shamsul Kabir Rahat and Nazmus Sadat, from the hall.
Bekul was undergoing treatment at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital till filling of this report.
