Two killed in road accidents

The dead were identified as Shamsuddin Bishwas,70, of Agunipara and Zakir Hossain,17, of Tribeni.

Police said the Kushtia-bound truck first ran over Shamsuddin near Sheikpara Bazar while he was crossing the road at noon and then rammed a rickshaw-van, parked on the roadside, killing van puller Zakir on the spot.

Police, however, seized the truck at Madhupur area of the highway. A case was filed.
