Extra allowance for workers during weekly holidays ahead of Eid

This government circular will be effective for three weeks in the run- up to Eid-ul-Fitr.

"The effect of sections 4(1), 5(1), and 5(3) of the Shops and Institutions Act 1965 has been suspended for three weeks before the Eid," an official announcement said yesterday.
