1,312 more held
Police arrested 1,312 people, including two listed criminals, on various charges during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.
During the period, the law enforcers recovered 26 firearms, 21 other weapons, 66 bullets and eight explosives and filed 15 cases against 33 people under the Arms Act, says a police headquarters press release.
