Thai Government organised the mega EXPO with active support from the Association of Thai Computing Industry (ATCI) and others. Most of the global ICT and Telecommunication giants were present. Several seminars and workshops were also arranged throughout the show, where many ICT professionals presented papers on their latest thoughts and discoveries on this fast moving industry.

It was a key opportunity for the participating Bangladeshi software companies to promote their products and represent our software industry to the international market.

It would be worthwhile to mention here that the 3-day long ASOCIO (Asian Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation) Officers' Meeting organised by BCS was held in Dhaka during the first week of last month. During this meeting, as part of increasing technological cooperation among the ASOCIO members, ATCI offered BCS a complimentary Pavilion for Bangladesh to participate in this EXPO.
