IFA students' programme
General students of the Institute of Fine Arts (IFA) of Dhaka University will organise an art competition for the children and an art exhibition marking the 29th death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The art competition will be held at 3:00pm on August 15 while the art exhibition will be inaugurated at 3:00pm on August 20, said the organisers at a press conference yesterday.
They will also hold a discussion on 'Bangabandhu murder, history of Bangalee and subsequent events' at the institute on August 20.
The students have formed a committee in this connection under the banner 'Jatiya Shok Dibas Udjapan Parishad-2004' with Siddharta Dey and Sheikh Moniruzzaman Liton as convenor and member-secretary respectively.
