Banker Mohammad Khaled

Eminent banker and founding Managing Director of the Pubali Bank Mohammad Khaled died at Birdem Hospital on Wednesday night at the age of 80.

Mohammad Khaled, former Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, was suffering from old-age diseases for sometime. He left behind his wife.

The body of Mohammad Khaled was taken to his village home at Sultanpur under Raozan thana of Chittagong after his first namaz-e-janaza at Dhanmondi Jame Mosque.

Later, he was buried at his family graveyard at Sultanpur after the second janaza there.

President and General Secretary of Chittagong Journalist Forum, Dhaka (CJFD) Mesbahuddain Jongi and Mostafa Kamal expressed deep shock at the death of Mohammad Khaled. They recalled his contribution to the society and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
