JU first year hons classes from August 28

The decision was taken at a meeting of the admission committee at the administrative building yesterday with Vice-Chancellor Prof Khandekar Mustahidur Rahman in the chair.

The university authorities will accord a reception to the freshers on August 26.

Seats have been allocated to the students of this session to different dormitories.

The list of the seat allotment has already been put up on the notice board at the administrative building. The students have been advised to contact provosts of their respective halls.

If any student remains absent in the classes for ten consecutive days without prior permission of the chairman of the concerned department, admission will be cancelled, the authorities said.
