2 Khulna outlaws held

They were identified as Saidur rahman 28, son of Torab Ali and Bomaru Hannan 24, son of Nazrul Islam.

They belong to Janajuddha faction of Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) and are suspects of Wednesday's bomb attack on city BNP Vice President Sekander Zafrullah Khan Sacchu at South Central Road, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mosharef Hossain of Khulna Police Station.

Both of them are listed criminals and accused in two murder cases. A special team of Khulna Metropolitan Police officials is quizzing them in connection with the bomb attack, OC said.

Meanwhile, leaders of Khulna city unit of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) at a rally yesterday warned KMP officials of dire consequences if violence against the politicians and journalists are not stopped immediately.
