Six criminals held in Ctg

Mirersarai police with the help of Double Mooring police arrested Rafiq, 26, ringleader of infamous Rafiq Bahini, and his accomplice Pichchi Kamal, 24, from Colonel Hat area at around 9.00pm.

Rafiq is an accused in a number of criminal cases. His gang operates in Mirersarai, Sonagazi in Feni, coastal areas of Hatiya and Companyganj in Noakhali.

In another drive, Raozan police arrested four accomplices of top criminal Fazal Haq, leader of infamous Fazal Haq Bahani, from Noapara.

The arrestees are Md Tayab, 29, Jahangir Alam, 30, Md Khokon, 29, and Fazlul Karim, 26.

Police also recovered two rounds of SLR bullet from their possession.
